Adrianne made my wedding dress alterations completely stress-free and an absolute breeze! She has the most amazing shop that's spacious, airy, light-filled and sooo comfortable and inviting (and SUPER cute - you know she has an eye for style the moment you walk in!) Adrianne has a very thought out process/timeline (clearly tried and true!) and made for a very smooth and seamless experience. She is SO knowledgeable and skilled (just watch a few of her IG posts and it will become super clear) - it was so easy to trust that she was going to do an amazing job. She is so intricate with what she does and has an eye for the smallest details - she suggested alterations before I even noticed anything - and they made my dress fit me like an absolute glove. I didn't fuss or pick at myself all day (and night...and it stood up to all my dancing and high kicks!) She's very transparent, helpful and easy to talk to - you should definitely add her to your top wedding vendors to book in ASAP! I also had Adrianne clean my dress after my wedding. the bottom was BLACK - both from it being an outdoor wedding AND from the dance floor - and it now looks brand new and ready for resale! I cannot recommend Adrianne enough.

Adrianne was absolutely amazing! I had two dresses done by her; one was my ball gown and the second was a vintage style reception dress. My dress was ordered in a very large size to accommodate my bust, and Adrianne made it fit me perfectly. I ended up losing weight leading up to the wedding and she was fantastic taking it in over and over again until it fit me perfectly for the big day! My reception dress was an old 1950s dress that Adrianne used to custom make me a beautiful tea length dress. I showed her an inspiration picture and she was able to make my dream reception dress. I couldn’t have picked a better seamstress to make me feel so beautiful on my wedding day.

I met Adrianne in 2019 when I was wedding dress shopping at Pearl and Birch. I was so done with the process of dress hunting and went to the shop on a whim and found a dress that was "a fine base" but not exactly what I wanted. I had a vision, but not the technical skills to do it - and there was nothing I wanted to do less than make my own wedding dress as so many people had suggested.

ENTER ADRIANNE! She heard me talking to my maid of honour saying: "I'd do this to it and this and this and this and this...." and she said "I can TOTALLY do that." She gave me all the confidence I needed to say yes. She loved the idea of me thrifting a curtain to add lace to the underlay of my dress, and basically created an entire new dress with the magic of alterations. 10000/10 would work with her again!

Adrianne is a FAIRY GODMOTHER. I have said it again and again. I knew there was no one else I was trusting my wedding dress to. Even before I had a gown, I was already in discussion with Adrianne about my end goal. I could never find anything that was quite right. I finally found a base of dress. I could see the final vision even though my family thought I was crazy with all the changes I was wanting to make for it to be perfect. Enter Adrianne's magic wand. She took everything I wanted, and made it happen. Not to mention, my dress was weeks/months late arriving to Winnipeg.

We kept having to move my appointment back until I got the dress, 3 weeks before my wedding. I had every ounce of faith in Adrianne to make it come to life. Especially after the seamstress at the bridal store that I bought it at told me none of it would be possible (and didn't want to take in the dress that was ordered 2 sizes larger than I needed). She changed my liner, took out inner lace off the bodice. Changed my underarms to be illusion. added my dreamy horsehair trim, Fit the dress to perfection and re-beaded by hand all the beading that moved during all this work. And then helped me figure out the best way to keep my girls up in my now plunging, backless and sideless dress. in all honestly I don't know how she did it. Not to mention all the cleaning she did whenever she was working on my sparkly dress and I would cover her fitting room and studio in glitter.

I was so happy with all the work Adrianne was able to do for my gown, I am so happy I trusted her and she was able to swish her wand and make all my dress dreams come true. Thank you Adrianne!

I chose a secondhand vintage inspired dress for my New Years Eve wedding. The back sold me but I wanted to change a few major things. I almost went the easier route (choosing something else) but after speaking with Adrianne she made me feel confident that she could bring my vision to life. She knocked it out of the park! It fit like a glove and she perfectly nuanced the 1940's starlet vibes I wanted.

I absolutely loved working with Adrianne on my wedding dress! She was so kind, talented, and friendly. Adrianne truly cares about making your vision a reality, and the quality of her work is phenomenal!

I bought my dress from Pearl and Birch on consignment. The dress needed multiple alterations, including fixing holes in the mesh on the bust, tailoring the hem so it wouldn’t curl, shortening the straps and taking in the waist. Adrianne took the time to explain everything including how she would do the alterations, all the options available, and was upfront about the cost of everything so I could make an informed decision. My dress had a lot of lace detailing, and once the alterations were done you would never know it was touched!

Lastly, I came to a lot of my appointments alone because my family and bridesmaids were all out of province. On more than one occasion, Adrianne took pictures of me in my dress to share with them after! She even helped me video call my mom during my last appointment so she could see the finished dress. I never once felt rushed during an appointment, and was welcome to stay in my dress as long as I wanted (I mean, who doesn’t want to wear their wedding dress as much as possible before the wedding?!)!

If you want to work with a highly talented, super knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, and all around good person/seamstress, Adrianne is hands down the best!

Adrianne is so professional and amazing at what she does. She made me dresses that I only thought existed in my dreams! The fitting environment in her studio is also so comfortable and wonderful. 10/10 reccomend!!!!
